MAIN OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
Cluster Business Hours: The Orange Cluster Main Office is in Kerr Hall, room 469. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.; closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch.
- Department Copy Room Support
- The departmental copy rooms are located at the following locations: CMN – 395 Kerr Hall; LIN – 285 Kerr Hall; POL – 475 Kerr Hall. Faculty, AIs, and TAs may access their department's copy room using their office key. Note that access to the copy machine will need a copy card (CMN, POL) or code (LIN). Faculty should contact the Cluster's Administrative Specialist to obtain a card/code. CMN and POL TAs, AIs, and Readers can check out a copy card from the Main Office for a maximum of two hours during regular business hours. The Cluster's Front Office should be informed of any technical issues by email at ocadmin@ucdavis.edu or in person at Kerr 469.
- Department Mailbox
Department mailboxes are located at the following locations: CMN – 395 Kerr Hall; LIN – 285 Kerr Hall; POL Faculty – 469 Kerr Hall/POL Graduate Students – 565 Kerr Hall. Faculty may request that students submit assignments, papers, and exams to the Main Office. A timestamp is available if needed. The Orange Cluster will only accept documents during regular business hours. If a large volume of exams/assignments are expected to be submitted to the Main Office, Kerr 469, please submit a request to ocadmin@ucdavis.edu two business days in advance.

Campus mail is picked up and delivered to Kerr Hall on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. There is an outgoing mailbox located in each department's mailroom. For FedEx/UPS orders, please arrange shipping with the Administrative Specialist.

- All Kerr Hall facilities and custodial concerns should be reported to the Orange Cluster Front Office by email, ocadmin@ucdavis.edu, or by stopping by Kerr 469.
- IT Support
- For all IT-related inquiries, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Kerr Hall IT Office, Kerr 483, lshelp@ucdavis.edu; https://lsit.ucdavis.edu/. LS IT provides support with purchasing computer equipment and software, computer and printing troubleshoots, and other technical issues.
- Kerr Hall Conference Room Reservations (non-classroom related)
- CMN, LIN, or POL Faculty and Graduate Students may email at ocevents@ucdavis.edu to reserve their departmental conference room. Please include the date, time range, group size, and purpose of the reservation. Requests received from non-Orange Cluster Faculty or Graduate Students will not be considered.
- Keys/Door Codes
- Upon arrival at the campus, the Cluster staff will oversee arrangements to provide new Faculty and Graduate Students with keys to assigned Kerr Hall office spaces as well as to the main doors of the building. Please get in touch with ocevents@ucdavis.edu ASAP to report missing/lost keys.
- Photocopy Support
- Kerr Hall photocopy machines are for instructional and research purposes only. Orange Cluster Faculty and Graduate Students may purchase a Reprographic copy card for personal photocopying at the Shields Library. If assistance is needed with making large volumes of photocopies, faculty should complete the Orange Cluster photocopy request form available in the Main Office or submit a request to ocadmin@ucdavis.edu. Note that the Front Office staff will need at least two business days advance notice to complete photocopy requests during peak periods, such as the start of the academic quarter, mid-terms, and finals week.
All University-related printing must be conducted using on-campus resources – such as our departmental printers, or through Reprographics. Third-party vendors, such as FedEx/Kinkos, are not allowable, and the cluster cannot reimburse expenses made to these vendors, even for instructional or research emergencies. - Printer Usage
- Each Orange Cluster Department provides its Faculty and Graduate Students access to a shared departmental printer (CMN: 395; LIN: 285; POL: 469). For assistance accessing the departmental printer, please get in touch with the LS IT team at lshelp@ucdavis.edu. Graduate Students have a page quota throughout the academic year. Those students who exceed their quota should contact Bekah Wilson Smith, Orange Cluster Business Office, to purchase additional pages. Do not use the network printer for large copy requests. Note that the Orange Cluster can only accept checks or money orders. Requests to increase printing quota may take up to one (1) full business day to process.
