As an Undergraduate Academic Advisor, Nancy guides academic policies and regulations tied to major and minor requirements for the Communication and Linguistics Departments. In addition, her role provides guidance and information on academic and professional opportunities such as internships, research, experiential learning programs, and post-graduate opportunities. She also guides appropriate resources to promote academic, personal, and professional progress and growth. Her role works closely with department faculty members to plan course offerings and serves as primary administrative staff for the Linguistics Department's undergraduate academic services and program development. In addition, she serves as supervisor for departmental peer advising staff and is responsible for conducting departmental outreach functions and workshops.
