As the Academic Advisor for the International Relations major, this role handles all aspects of IR advising, from working with prospective students, course scheduling, academic planning, study abroad, pre-grad and pre-professional questions, and certifying completion of the IR degree. Additionally, this role handles administrative aspects of the IR major, such as overseeing scholarships and awards, transfer course review, curriculum revisions, and outreach for the major. The position participates in orientation for new students, both first years and transfers. The role is part of a team that updates the Political Science website for the Department of Political Science.

This position is a secondary advisor for the Communication and Linguistics majors.
